The short version
We collect the minimum we need to help you find gifts, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account and data anytime from Settings.
What we collect
Account info: your name, username, email, and password (passwords are stored securely by our auth provider, never in plain text).
Gift profiles: details you add about yourself and people in your circle — interests, occasions, budgets, sizes, notes.
Optional location: only if you choose to share it, to find local gift shops.
Usage: basic analytics (page visits, performance) to improve the app.
How we use it
To run your account, generate gift ideas, send reminders you've opted into, process Premium payments, and keep the service working and secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with (service providers only)
We use trusted services to operate Presnt: Supabase (database & login), Anthropic, Tavily and SerpApi (to generate and look up gift ideas), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting & analytics). They only process your data to provide their part of the service.
AI & gift search
When you run a gift search, the recipient details you provide are sent to our AI and search providers to generate suggestions. Don't include sensitive personal information you wouldn't want processed this way.
Your choices
You can edit or delete people, turn reminders and location off, and permanently delete your whole account and data from Settings → About → Terminate account. You can also email us to request a copy or deletion of your data.
Children
Presnt isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
